Manassas National Battlefield Park

Manassas National Battlefield Park preserves the site of two major American Civil War battles: the First Battle of Bull Run on July 21, 1861, and the Second Battle of Bull Run fought between August 28 and August 30, 1862. These battles are also as First and Second Manassas. The park was established on May 10, 1940 and covers 5,073 acres. Some of the many historic sites on the battlefield are:
