This monument is Not visible from the road. It is located at N 34° 55.613 W 85° 14.544.

Parking is available on Brotherton Road near N 34° 55.4905 W 85° 14.4854 .
To reach this monument:
The marker is on the north side of Brotherton Road, near Winfrey Field, on a wooded path. From the 1st Ohio Infantry Regiment Monument. Pass the Philemon P. Baldwin Memorial Shell Monument. A path will lead off to the east (right), follow this path until you find the plaque.

Comments about this monument:
This standard Indiana regimental marker, built in 1898, consists of a 4' x 4' x 4'8" high rock-faced oolitic stone block with a peaked top and a 12" x 18" bronze plaque affixed to its front. It marker the units location on September 19th from 6pm until 7 pm.
