Location of the monument:
This monument is Not visible from the road. It is located at N 34° 55.052  W 85° 15.1291. Map it

Parking is available on Brotherton Road near  N 34° 55.2299  W 85° 14.9087 .


To reach this monument:
The marker is located in the woods at the south west corner of Brock’s Field. A path leads from the blue plaque for Turchin's Brigade (USA) to the marker.

Comments about this monument:
This is a standard Ohio marker, built in 1894. It is a 1'6" x 1'6" x 3' high granite obelisk with a raised letter inscription. Marks unit's position west of Brock Field on September 19, 1863, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
