To reach this monument:
Marker can be reached from Chickamauga-Vittetoe Road 0.1 miles east of Lytle Road, on the left when traveling south. Parking area & trailhead are at these coordinates (34.923174,-85.275283). Head up the trail, take the first right, marker is located a short distance on left.

Comments about this monument:
This monument was created in 1894. It is a 12'6" tapering granite cross set on battered 5'6" x 4'11" base. Base has raised letter inscription, and cross has inset carved laurel wreath. Located east of Vittetoe House site.
