Location of the monument:
This monument is Not visible from the road. It is located at N 34° 56.1235  W 85° 14.5364. Map it

Parking is available on Reed's Bridge Road near  N 34° 56.3239   W 85° 14.5126


To reach this monument:
From the parking area on Reed’s Bridge Road, follow the path south west. At the marker to the 82nd Indiana, a path will lead off an easterly direction. The markers for the 35th Ohio and the 87th Indiana are on this path.

Comments about this monument:
This standard Indiana regimental marker consists of a 4' x 4' x 4'8" high rock-faced oolitic stone block with a peaked top and a 12" x 18" bronze plaque affixed to its front. Marks regiment's position northeast of Reed's Bridge Tower site.
